Why is my payment on hold or delayed?
Why an incoming payment can be placed on compliance hold, and what happens during review.
|
Every incoming payment is screened against Tazapay's compliance and risk rules. If something about the payment looks unusual, such as the sender, source country, or transaction pattern, it is placed on hold while it is reviewed.
What this means for youThe funds are not yet credited to your balance, and the payment will not show as succeeded. Tazapay's compliance team reviews it and may reach out to you for more information.
What happens next?Once review is complete, the payment moves to either succeeded, meaning the funds are credited, or failed, meaning the funds are returned to the sender. See What happens if my payment fails or gets reversed?
Should I tell my customer or supplier anything? You can let them know the payment is being reviewed and may take a little longer to clear. This is a routine part of how Tazapay screens incoming funds and does not necessarily mean anything is wrong.👉 For full details, check out the Tazapay developer docs: • Compliance holds → https://developer.tazapay.com/collection-accounts/incoming-payments/compliance-holds |
