How long does it take to get a virtual account approved?

How long virtual account issuance and compliance approval takes, and what happens once it's approved.

After you request a virtual account or stablecoin wallet, Tazapay reviews the request as part of its compliance and risk checks before the account is issued.

How long does it take?

The review varies depending on the currency, country, and your expected volume, and can take a few business days.

How to check where your request has got to

1. Log in to the Tazapay dashboard at dashboard.tazapay.com.
2. Click Virtual Accounts in the left sidebar if you requested a virtual account, or Wallets if you requested a stablecoin wallet.
3. Look for the account in the list. Once it has been approved and provisioned, it appears with its account number or deposit address and is ready to receive funds.
4. If it is not in the list yet, the request is still being reviewed.
5. If you need an update, email support@tazapay.com with your registered email address and the details of what you requested.

If you requested the account through the API, you can track the enablement process with collection account webhook events instead of checking the dashboard.

What happens once it is approved

Your account number or wallet address is provisioned and appears in your dashboard, and you get a notification by email or webhook. Until then, the account cannot receive funds, so do not share the details with a payer before it is live.
