How do I request a virtual account or stablecoin wallet?

Three ways to request a Tazapay virtual account or stablecoin wallet — support team, dashboard, or API.

Virtual accounts and stablecoin wallets are not active automatically. You or your entity needs to be onboarded and approved first, and then you request the specific account or wallet you need.

Easiest option: email the support team

Email support@tazapay.com, or your account manager, with:
- Your registered email address and business name
- For a virtual account: the currency, domiciled country, and transfer type (SWIFT or local clearing)
- For a stablecoin wallet: the stablecoin and blockchain
- Whether this is for your primary business account, a sub-entity, or a sub-account

This is currently the most reliable path, since the self-serve options below are in beta.

Self-serve from the dashboard (Beta): virtual account

1. Log in to the Tazapay dashboard at dashboard.tazapay.com.
2. Click Collection Accounts in the left sidebar.
3. Open the Virtual Accounts tab.
4. Click + Add.
5. Fill in the form:
- Country, the country the account is domiciled in, for example SG, CA or GB
- Currency, the currency you want to collect in
- Payment Method Type, either local bank transfer or SWIFT wire
- Alias and Description are optional, and only help you identify the account later
6. Review what you have entered and click Submit.

Self-serve from the dashboard (Beta): stablecoin wallet

1. Click Collection Accounts in the left sidebar.
2. Open the Wallets tab.
3. Click + Add.
4. Choose the Stablecoin (USDC or USDT) and the Blockchain, for example Ethereum, Solana or Tron. Alias and Description are optional.
5. Review what you have entered and click Submit.

A fee may apply when a collection account is created, either one time, recurring, or both. It is deducted from your Tazapay balance when the account is created.

Self-serve via API (Beta)

Call the Collection Account Creation API with your requirements. If Tazapay can fulfil them, the account is created and goes through an enablement process you can track with collection account webhook events.

What happens after you submit

Your request goes through compliance and risk checks before the account is issued. See How long does it take to get a virtual account approved?
